Wedding Q & A’s

Can I bring a Plus One if the weren’t on the invitation

We want to celebrate with friends and family that we know and love and want to keep an intimate feel to our special day, so no plus one’s can come if they weren’t on your invitation. Thank you for understanding.

What is transportation and parking like?

All of the weekend’s events have limited parking. Uber and Lyft are both very reliable - you may want to “SCHEDULE YOUR RIDE” to the events to make sure you get the timing you want. We don’t want this to prevent you from attending anything so let us know if you have specific parking needs.

Are kids invited?

We know a lot of our friends have kids, and while we love them, we ask they stay home for our wedding celebrations.

So you’re not surprised, our family’s kids are part of our ceremony and you may see them at the reception.

Thank you for understanding.

What will the weather be like in Wilmington in April?

We love Wilmington in April! Temperatures are typically mild - high 50s to low 70s. We can get wildcards though so definitely double check the forecast when you’re packing! All events will be outdoors.

Will dinner be provided at the reception?

Of course! A great party requires great food! :) A beautiful charcuterie table and passed h’ors derives will be available during cocktail hour with food stations opening for dinner. Don’t miss desert to be served after the cake cutting! (but surprise - it’s not cake!)

Can I bring my own snacks and or my trusty water bottle/cup to the wedding?

We kindly ask that you part ways with what we know is sometimes attached to people’s hip. We promise there will be plenty of snacks and beverages available. We’ll have tea, and water as well as wine, beer and 2 signature cocktails.
